The dissolution of the Association des familles Perron d’Amérique inc. (November 16, 2025) As mentioned in several bulletins over the past two years, and again at the 2024 AGM in Drummondville, the Board of Directors has been increasingly concerned about the future of our association. With a declining membership—and consequently reduced revenues to meet our operating needs—a shortage of candidates willing to serve on the Board, and limited participation at our gatherings since Covid, both the Board and the members present at the AGM have come to the difficult conclusion that our association, in its current form, is no longer viable. A resolution was adopted unanimously by the members present at the AGM that a committee be created to study and carry out the dissolution of the AFPA. The members of this committee are Mmes. Gabrielle Perron-Newman (313), Josiane Perron (1000), Linda Perron (943), Manon Perron (719) and Messrs. Normand Perron (838), Pierre Perron (165), and Richard Lyness (755).
